Zack & Heather's Big Fat CUSTOM Mexican Wedding

The girls and I were deeply touched when Zack & Heather invited us to their beautiful Mexican Wedding. We met the two love birds when they came into Casa Bonampak, our retail store to order Custom Traditional Mexican Papel Picado Banners. It was a beautiful ceremony, Heather looked absolutely radiant in her mermaid style wedding gown and Zack elegant and handsome in his traditional Mexican Charro suit. We danced all night, Tia Aminta (my Auntie) of course-outdanced us all and we ate and ate in a true Mexican Pachanga (party) ambiance. I feel like we have been FAMILIA all along-they are fun, warm and generous people.
Heather and Zack have stayed friends over the years and are officially my favorite "Novios" ('Bride and Groom'). Here are some of the special touches that gave the night a festive and traditional touch:

For the invitation Heather used our solid mini papel picado banners to create her own color combinations. Using glue dots she attached velum invites using the mini sheets as a background giving this invitation a truly traditional touch and setting the tone for the rest of the wedding experience.

I loved the idea of the centerpieces; using one of our Traditional Fancy Paper Flower w/ a Mexican vase surrounded by maracas with an engraved r
ibbon and the words : "!Beso! !Beso!" ('Kiss! Kiss').

Til Death Do us Part! !Hasta Que La Muerte Nos Separe!
In true Mexican-Day-0f-the-Dead Fashion,

I really loved the wedding favors; little chile plants with an engraved ribbon!
-A Truly Latin Touch~
I planted them when I got home and tied their engraved ribbon around the plant. Everytime I water my new plant I bless Zack & Heather's marriage

I always suggest framing a custom wedding sheet as a momento, this was our wedding gift to our new amigos-we wish you a wonderful new life together!
